Membership

The Park Board is an advisory board serving the City Council. The Park Board consists of seven members appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council. Six members of the Board are residents of the City of St. Joseph and are appointed for three year terms. The remaining member of the Board is an appointed member of the City Council. The Council liaison does not have voting powers and serves in one year terms.

Mission Statement

St. Joseph shall provide an attractive, well-maintained park, open space, and trail system that is safe and accessible to all community members and that provides a range of active and passive opportunities for diverse and changing recreational needs.
