THE OPEN BOOK MEETING SCHEDULED FOR THIS DATE HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Due to concerns over the health and safety of Stearns County property owners and employees, this Open Book meeting has been cancelled.Employees from the Stearns County Assessor’s Office are available to assist property owners in understanding their Notice of Valuation and Classification, and to address any concerns regarding their value and classification for the 2020 Assessment, Property Taxes Payable in 2021.

Stearns County appraisers will continue to work with property owners to resolve any appeals using all tools available to them.County staff will not be conducting physical inspections, whether interior or exterior, for any property until further notice.It is our expectation that all concerns will continue to be addressed to the fullest extent possible and with the best interest of the property owner in mind.

The decision to cancel the in-person meeting has been done in accordance with MN DOR guidelines and Stearns County’s decision to close public facing services. Please refer to our website for any updates or further changes to upcoming meetings and deadlines.
